Delete Your Account

How to delete your Celiscan data.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Celiscan doesn't use accounts, so there's no login to delete. This page explains what data exists, where it lives, and how to remove it.

No account, no profile

Celiscan has no sign-up and no user accounts. We don't collect your name, email address, or contacts, and we can't identify you personally from your use of the app.

Deleting your on-device data

Your Pantry, scan history, and preferences are stored locally on your device only. To remove all of it:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Go to General → iPhone Storage.
  3. Find Celiscan and tap Delete App.

This removes the app and every piece of local data with it, immediately.

Deleting your subscription record

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription — manage or cancel that separately in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Server-side data

When you scan a barcode, the barcode (and, if you scan an ingredients label, the label text or photo) is sent to our backend to produce a verdict. Photos are processed and not stored. Product-level results are cached in a shared product database keyed by barcode, not by you, so there is no personal record on our servers tied to your device to delete.
